Public Relations Account Coordinator Description: KNB’s Account Coordinator assists with research, media relations and general administration of client campaigns/accounts. Duties include following up with media, managing the media database, proofreading documents, drafting press releases, tracking the resulting media coverage, and helping out KNB’s Account Executives with other client-related work. The Account Coordinator will learn, from the ground up, how to effectively execute a public relations campaign to achieve maximum exposure for the client. The ideal candidate will be a well-rounded, organized professional with the ability to multi-task and the desire to learn new skills while taking on challenging assignments. The position is based at our Norwalk, CT offices.
Qualifications: Candidates MUST have 1-3 years of experience at a public relations firm and have graduated from a college or university with a related degree in English, Communications, Public Relations or Journalism. Solid communication skills are a must along with MS Office proficiency (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook), web savvy, excellent organizational skills and a professional attitude. This is an opportunity to work with the media and learn from PR pros. We are looking for a multi-tasker with a "can do" attitude. Candidates from Fairfield, Westchester Counties preferred.
