Overview:
The Image Specialist performs a variety of image tasks including retouching, color correction, archiving and naming images, image output and more.
Key Accountabilities:
Reviewing vendor-provided images against quality standards and determining viability for use online.
Retouching, cropping and optimizing vendor images for use on the site.
Track progress of all on-going projects, reporting data weekly.
Image retouching of on-figure and laydown images, utilizing clipping paths, adjustment layers etc.
Preparing, naming and archival of images according to production specifications.
Ensure all images are properly optimized and sent to the site.
Skills Summary:
2-5 years of retouching experience working in e-commerce, fashion, or photography production environment.
Must have a strong sense of color theory.
Expert knowledge of Photoshop, in addition to Creative Suite and Microsoft Office familiarity.
Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team member.
Excellent management of timing and deliverables for project work.
Must be able to handle a number of projects simultaneously.
Exceptionally detail-oriented, well organized and able to thrive in deadline-driven, fastpaced and quick turnaround environment.
Maintain professional demeanour despite unscheduled work, revisions and short timetables.
Enthusiasm for the creative and technical processes.
Outstanding atittude and abilit to respond effectively and appropriately to feedback.
BA/BFA in Graphic Design, Motion Graphics, Photography, or work experience demonstrated by portfolio.
