Vice President - Commercial Solutions
Our client, a leading manufacturing firm with offices in Long Island, NY, is seeking a Vice President of Commercial Solutions.
This position calls for a strategic minded Information Technology Leader with the ability to lead a major transformation of the current IT Infrastructure platform; and better align technology to the goals and objectives of the organization. The individual will be responsible for commercial functions in Wholesale and Retail businesses, and for all business intelligence, sales, marketing, and customer-facing applications. In addition, the individual will be a strong organizational leader with ability to direct a team and to lead by influence across various functions. This position reports directly to the Chief Information Officer. Our client is offering a base salary of 225K plus bonus, and additional perks. The client will also consider relocation packages.
Responsibilities would include:
Define the current and future IT landscape to bring about successful transformation of IT platforms
Establish corporate metrics around commercial solutions
Define IT strategy and execute with excellence
Access current IT staff and recommend organizational changes in the department
Establish strong relationships and work together with various divisions
Initiate and lead the execution of new technology leveraging in-house or external development sources
Assist in the creation of a highly innovative IT department
Requirements:
15+ years of successful global IT experience
Excellent organizational leader with solid track record of leading change
Record of success in implementing technology solutions for Business Intelligence, Sales, and Marketing
Solid experience of leveraging Enterprise Architecture methodologies to drive IT initiatives
Broad understanding of cloud-based technology and enterprise technology
Solid experience managing and executing technology vendor relationships
Strategic thinker with strong problem solving skills
Excellent influence and relationship building skills
